Mostly sunny sky with some afternoon breezes are forecast today. High temperatures will rise to above average levels for late October except for the far northeast plains where a backdoor cold front will move in.
Dry northwest flow will force several back door cold fronts through NM this week. A temperature roller coaster with periodic breezy weather will impact the state. The biggest change will come Thursday and Friday when a potent cold front moves through. A widespread freeze is expected Saturday morning.
Two cold fronts will impact the area this week. The first one will push through later today/tonight and the second, colder one will push through late Thursday.
