High temps will warm few degrees today but will remain below normal along and west of the central mountain chain. Gusty winds will develop across central and eastern high terrain areas this afternoon.
The next storm system will approach NM from the west/northwest Monday and generate widespread windy conditions.
The next storm system will move through New Mexico Monday and Tuesday with another round of windy weather. The strongest winds are expected over eastern New Mexico on Tuesday where gusts up to 65 mph are possible. Meanwhile, rain and snow will slide into central and western NM Monday night and Tuesday.
