KHGX Radar is currently undergoing maintenance and will be out of service through at least the morning of April 1st. Radar coverage is available from adjacent radar sites.

Today's highs will be in the mid to upper 80s. Winds will be out of the southeast around 10-15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph during the afternoon hours. Isolated to scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are possible, mainly in the afternoon.

Overnight lows will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s under mostly cloudy skies. Expect southeast winds at 10-15 mph. Patchy fog is possible over areas with lighter winds.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop ahead and along a cold front. Periods of heavy rain will be possible. There is a Marginal Risk (level 1 of 4) of Excessive Rainfall for all of Southeast Texas. Highest rain chances Saturday afternoon into overnight hours (early Sunday). Lingering showers/storms possible Sunday.

Overall warm weather continues through the work week. Rain chances return around midweek and over the upcoming weekend.
