There are no watches, warnings, or advisories at this time.

Warm and humid conditions continue across Southeast Texas today with high temperatures reaching the mid-80s inland and the upper 70s along the coast. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop north of the Interstate 10 corridor this afternoon and evening, with a few isolated strong to severe storms possible. Expect gusty southerly winds throughout the day.
A mild and humid night is expected across Southeast Texas with low temperatures ranging from 67 to 71 degrees. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms remain possible for areas north of Interstate 10, with the highest chances in the Piney Woods. Additionally, patchy sea fog is expected to return to Galveston Bay.
A cold front moving into the region on Saturday will lead to widespread showers and thunderstorms. There is a Slight Risk (level 2 of 5) for severe thunderstorms across most of SE Texas with the potential for damaging wind gusts, hail, and locally heavy rainfall. Potential for severe weather begins Saturday afternoon and continues into Saturday night.
Locally heavy rainfall is possible this weekend across Southeast Texas. For Saturday, a Slight Risk (level 2 of 4) for excessive rainfall is in place for areas along and north of I-10, with a Marginal Risk along the coast. On Sunday, a Marginal Risk extends across the entire region. Minor urban and small stream flooding are the most likely impacts, along with minor rises on area rivers.
Rain chances will persist daily through midweek next week across Southeast Texas. While multi-day rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches are expected for many, isolated areas could see those same amounts in a single day where the strongest storms develop. The highest risk for locally heavy rainfall will be Saturday into Sunday, and again from Tuesday into Wednesday. Stay prepared for wet weather and possible localized flooding throughout the week.
