A strong storm system will bring the potential for severe weather and heavy rainfall on Tuesday, with additional showers and storms on Wednesday. A Flood Watch is in effect for portions of southeast Texas for Tuesday. Remain weather aware and prepared. Always make sure you have multiple ways to get alerts.

Flooding caused by heavy rainfall is possible on Tuesday as a storm system moves through the region. A Flood Watch is in effect from Tuesday morning through late Tuesday night.

Elevated winds and seas are expected later today into late Tuesday, along with scattered thunderstorms. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect.

Dangerous beach and swimming conditions expected.
