Radar Outage

A broad area of low pressure in the eastern Gulf has a 40% chance of tropical development over the next 7 days as it slowly drifts northward or north-northwestward. It is advised that you keep up with the tropics over the next several days for updates in case anything changes.

Partly cloudy skies are expected across the region on Saturday, with daytime highs into the low-mid 90s and overnight lows in the 70s.

Low temperatures settle into the mid 70s to low 80s. Conditions are expected to be partly cloud. Isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible overnight

Mostly sunny and warmer. Highs in the mid 90s inland, around 90 coast. Lows 75-81.

The heat will build this weekend into next week. Heat index levels could approach Heat Advisory criteria by Tuesday. Rain chances will remain low through the middle of the week. Rain chances may rise by week's end.

HGX radar is currently out of service due to an unanticipated disruption. Electronic Technicians will be working on the radar later today.
