Key Messages: Plume of deeper tropical moisture combined with an upper level disturbance will lead to scattered to widespread showers/storms today. Some of these storms may be capable of producing locally heavy rainfall. Grounds in areas east of I-45 remain very saturated from previous rounds of rainfall. There is a Marginal Risk (level 1 of 4) of Excessive Rainfall for all of Southeast Texas today. Potential Impacts: Localized instances of street flooding, especially in low-lying areas, areas with poor drainage, and areas already saturated from previous rounds of rain. Rainfall rates of 2-3+”/hr possible in the heaviest downpours. Actions: Have multiple ways to receive alerts. Stay up to date with the latest forecasts.

Scattered to widespread showers and thunderstorms, especially east of I-45. Light southeasterly winds outside of any storms. Highs in the low to mid 90s.

Isolated showers/storms possible overnight, mainly west of I-45. Light and variable winds. Lows mainly in the mid to upper 70s.
