Low Water Advisory In effect Until Midnight Saturday 1/31. For Galveston Bay and Matagorda Bay. Conditions more severe in upper portions of the bays. Low Tides Around 1.5 Feet Below Mean Lower Low Water. Increased potential for vessel grounding.

A dry cold front will move across the region tonight, ushering in another stretch of frigid conditions through the weekend. Sub-freezing temperatures are expected overnight, primarily for areas along and north of I-10. With Cold Weather Advisories in effect region-wide for Saturday, remember to protect People, Plants, and Pets.

Today will be cool with highs in the 60s/70s. A dry cold front should move through the area later today. Overnight lows will be in the 30s/40s.

Friday will be cold with highs in the 40s/50s. Overnight lows will drop into the 20s/30s. A Hard Freeze with low wind chill values will be possible.

Cold Weather Ahead. Low Wind Chills and Hard Freeze possible this Weekend. Wind chills may drop into the 20s to lower teens Friday night through Sunday morning. Much of the region could experience a Hard Freeze.

Cold front pushes through SE Texas on Thursday. Cold weather follows through the weekend, then conditions warm up early next week. Showers/storms return Tuesday and onwards.
