This is the current radar display for SE TX.

A Flood Watch continues for portions of southeast Texas through Wednesday evening.

Tropical Storm Conditions are expected in the warning area with winds over 40 mph in the rainbands. Tropical Storm Conditions are possible in the watch area. Locally very heavy rainfall capable of flash flooding remains the primary concern. Gusts of 35+ mph are possible along the coast.

PCT 1 has been upgraded to Tropical Storm Arthur and is expected to track NE during the day and reach TX/LA border during the evening hours. An additional 1-2 inch of rainfall with isolated higher amounts are anticipated. Flooding remains possible for coastal locations where bands of precipitation may train. Tropical Storm force winds over coastal waters with tropical storm force gusts possible inland.

It emphasizes the importance of proactive preparedness by advising people to enable mobile weather alerts, immediately seek higher ground when warned, and never attempt to cross flooded areas by foot or in a vehicle.
